POSTCARD LOVE POST:We Are Each of Us Angels With Only One Wing

Sometimes when I'm too lazy to grab a book (shame), I just read snippets of wisdom scattered online and that would prompt me to thinking; and when I get revved up thinking, I then lay down in bed and read my own thoughts mish-mashed on the ceiling. I love doing that. (: If you think I'm noisy online, wait til you hear my thoughts.Haha ^_~

Today, I picked this:

We are each of us angels with only one wing,

and we can only fly by embracing one another.

~Luciano de Crescenzo

I did so because I got inspired by this postcard sent to me by Nimfa Vedrero from Vatican City:

WILLIAM A. BOUGUEREAU
THE FIRST KISS

At the back of the postcard (of course, tee-hee~), Nimfa wrote:

I found this card when I was walking near some souvenir shops in Vatican City. I actually bought four of this. One for myself, one for a friend in Canada, and another one for a friend in Milan, and this one is for you.

Awww <3 How sweet is that? Of course I love this postcard, why it's a Bouguereau art repro; but for some reason, I love the message Nimfa has written on it more. I don't know I just felt my soul soar when I read it.

The same way my heart leaped when I received this cute little cherub from Moniek Krouwel-Schuurman.

Raphael (1483-1520)
Sistene Madonna (detail), c. 1513

My soul is happy I want to sing.
Hmmm, these lines would be perfect:

♪ ♫
And through it all she offers me protection
A lot of love and affection
Whether I'm right or wrong
And down the waterfall
Wherever it may take me
I know that life won't break me
When I come to call, she won't forsake me
I'm loving angels instead

(:
