Dear oh, dear... at least I tried!
Wait!... How do fashion bloggers do it??
They do it like this, right?
Believe me, I did try my darnest to hide my flabby-ei-shooz arms... to no avail. *toink!

That which does not kill me...
Wore my new pair of lace-up wedges to work today for a break-in. It looked so good, alright, and I think I looked good in it ; but how I survived the commute home is still a mystery to me. Part of me has died - my feet. >< ...Oh, but I'll wear it again on Saturday. That which does not kill me... gives me corns and blisters. *toink
Baby Diaries
September 20, 2010 Monday
Baby Tomas,
Today at 4:00AM, your Mamita (Lola Christy) did her generous routine of taking you to her room so I can catch up on sleep until 9:00AM. I decided to wake up earlier than usual (as I always oversleep) because I miss greeting the morning sun with you in my arms; and when I went out to greet you a sweet "good morning, baby", there you were, kicking, flashing an even sweeter smile. With my heart melting, I can only stand there, wondering whatever made me so lucky to have been blessed with a gift like you. Thank you for your smile today, son.
Love always,
Mommy

Ode To My Blogspot *this somehow sounds naughty, donchathink?
Shall I discard the old and start anew, this time with a clean slate?
I have been contemplating on the above-stated dilemma for hours, glued on this hard monobloc chair (I have yet to find a floral swivel chair from who-knows-where-I-can-find-one). This blog is more than 4 years old, and I am convinced I have grown a lot since then. I've abandoned it to the point of forgetting the password but I always end up going back to either vent or brag (admit it or not, we all do that). I've tweaked it and ruined it, painted it emo-ish coal one day, whore-ish crimson the next, and today - Stepford Wives-ish powder blue & baby pink --- perhaps to mirror the many phases and facets of the many lives I live.
Scrolling down to the old, older, and oldest posts, I find it hard to part from this site. It has become my silent confidante, ready to absorb my fiery rants and/or gleeful shout-outs. I have revealed so much on this blog (of mine), in fact much to much that it has become a personal space that's almost awkward for others to trespass; but I guess I'm transparent, honest, frank, and blunt like that so I leave its doors unlocked.
So, having said all that, I shall continue updating from time to time but this time with a new approach.
And, as my latest theme suggests, I will now officially enlist myself in the Just-Another-Mommy-Blogger Queendom.
Brace yourself for a deluge of baby photos and Mommyhood anecdotes.
I heart you all.

Buh-Bye Pink Feline
Okay so I’m bored. My baby sleeps like a log you see, and I just had the strongest coffee one can ever concoct so I’m revved-up like a deuce. I don’t know where else to channel my energy but here in ze Global Ville. I wanted to do something more productive, for a change.
Like cleaning my inbox.
By cleaning I mean actually reading the messages, sift the good ones from the bad, and throw the stale ones into the bin. So I logged in, excited, ready to click sort until…

And the energy died down like phoof! So I decided to do what I reign as queen at - procrastinate. Numbers this great never fail to astound me. Well, unless these figures were written on a cheque under my name, then h*ll, I don't mind at all.
Numbers bring me back to the horror of College days when the only reason I didn't fail was because my stars were aligned then.... OH lemme' not bore you like you weren't already.
Teehee~ I WAS the pink feline, but hey! me being the pinkpanther is older than that Beyonce flick, and I was so teeny-bopper-young then when I had both yahoo and gmail accounts.. *defensive much? Ahaha. Just saying 'coz I saw your smirk.
Hmmm, I just might hit DELETE ACCOUNT. The thought of having to sort mail this great a number is just so stressing, besides, I have outgrown being this pink feline... And I don't think I'd like it if my son inherits my fondness for the rosy cat! Rarr!!!

I Love Paris in the Springtime
I Love Paris in the Springtime by sassymisstoni on Polyvore.com
Some flowers to match the springtime, a little lace to shield the sun, heather blue skies, rainbow smiles... dear, the dog days are done.
She's Lost Control Again
She's Lost Control Again by sassymisstoni on Polyvore.com
Not-so-heavy metal subdued by bloody bow. Reds and dark top and tutu suggest girlish oxymoron dancing to the beat of reckless abandon --- hence, whatever!
I never promised you a rose garden.
I never promised you a rose garden. by sassymisstoni featuring hair flower accessories
Think bohemian spring... flowers so lush... misty moisty grasses on the meadow... a huggable tree... then go write a poem.
